STEP 1:
Bite
off the ends of the Tim Tam
Take the Tim Tam and bite off a small piece of one end. Then, turn the Tim Tam around and bite off a small piece of the other end. Make sure you only bite off a small piece, as you don’t want the biscuit to crumble.
STEP 2:
Dunk
the Tim Tam in your drink
Dip one end of the Tim Tam into your hot beverage. Make sure it’s fully submerged but don’t leave it in too long, or the biscuit will get too soggy.

Suck
the hot beverage through the Tim Tam

Celebrities such as Hugh Jackman and Naomi Watts have helped spread the Tim Tam Slam’s fame beyond Australia. In 2002, the Australian Olympic swimming squad relaxed and joined in with the Tim Tam Slam before their races at the Commonwealth Games.
